OUR HISTORY

..In 1849 my Great-Grandfather "Soonhong"moved to ChiangMai from Swatow, Guangdong (The South of China). He opened a shop in Warorot Market advertising himself as "Hah Seng Heng:Yellow Wax Dealer and vendor of "Novelties" ..He was married with my Great-Grandmother "Khammoon"a Tai lue (Tai ethnic group) from Sipsong Panna in 1854. At the same time he built the large teak house for wedding present, it the main building of "Tanita House" you can still see today.
