Tanita House is located at 152 Charoenrat Road, near Wat Ket and across the road from the east bank of the Ping River. We have a wooden gateway with a wood-and-gold Tanita sign. As you walk up the driveway, the bustle of the road recedes and you draw closer to our teak and green paradise.
From Chiang Mai Airport (CNX)
Go to the airport taxi or limousine counters in the Arrivals Hall and ask to be taken to Tanita House, near Wat Ket / next to Elephant Parade / across from Hotel des Artists. The price is 250 baht (at December 2017) and it can take anywhere between 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic. You can also find songtaew (red pickup buses) and tuktuks at the airport; you have to negotiate a price with them. You will know you have arrived when you see large decorated elephants near our gate.
From Chiang Mai Train Station or Arcade Bus Station
The ride should usually take only 10 minutes from either location; perhaps 40-50 baht for 1-2 people via songtaew, or 50-80 via tuktuk.
However you may get here, a warm welcome awaits you.
